The masks may be coming off, but we are not back to regular networking. A few months ago, I chatted with Shauntay Dunbar on our A La Mode Mondays (IG Live Series) about how she pivoted her in-person networking style to an online one.

Accountability Groups: It is so easy to not get tasks done, or promote your business when you are home. A home is a place where you are supposed to relax, right? But then you find your business or/and personal brand becoming static. You see those projects piling up. This is when an accountability group comes in handy. Find an active group of people that you can share your ideas with. This doesn’t mean you surround yourself with people that are extra hard on you. Just people that want to see you accomplish your goals and will hold you accountable.

Keep Learning: We were all given the gift of time, this last year. Use this time to learn new skills that can help your business. Take a website workshop. Spend time perfecting and creating your sales strategy.

Attend Virtual Events: Shauntay and I met at an in-person event. You meet so many people at events. Well, now you have to meet those people at virtual events. Find events where you can interact. You can even do audio events such as Clubhouse.

One of the best ways to grow is to make sure you keep networking. So put yourself in different groups.
